Job summary

Frontline Personnel is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at a Long-Term Care rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility in Delmar, NY. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, performing a range of PTA tasks to support patient care.

Qualified candidates hold an active PTA license in the state and may include new grads. We offer flexible shifts, toll reimbursements, and opportunities for daily pay, making a meaningful impact on patient

Qualifications

• PTA license is REQUIRED by the State.
• New grads accepted, prior experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of PTA tasks under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help maximize independence and health for long-term care patients.
• Assist with therapeutic interventions and functional activities for elderly patients.
• Support patients with cognitive or psychosocial challenges as required.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications:

• A Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license by the State is REQUIRED.

• Experience is preferred, however we are accepting new grads.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Frontline Personnel, under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will perform a variety of tasks in a Long-Term Care rehab, Skilled Nursing Facility for elderly patients including:

• Carry out patient-related activities and therapeutic interventions.

• Provide services to help maximize independence and maintain health for individuals limited by:

  • Physical injury or illness

  • Cognitive impairment

  • Psychosocial dysfunction

  • Mental illness

  • Developmental or learning disability

  • Adverse environmental conditions
