Job summary

Frontline Personnel is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at a facility in Staten Island, NY. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to perform a variety of therapeutic tasks in a Long-Term Care rehab setting.

The ideal candidate holds a current PTA license and is enthusiastic about helping patients improve their independence and well-being. New grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state is required.
• Experience preferred but new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapist in a Long-Term Care rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Carry out patient-related activities and therapeutic interventions.
• Assist to maximize independence and maintain health for patients with physical, cognitive, psychosocial, or developmental needs.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications:

• A Current Physical Therapist Assistant(PTA)license by the State is REQUIRED.

• Experience is preferred, however we are accepting new grads.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Frontline Personnel, under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will perform a variety of tasks in a Long-Term Care rehab, Skilled Nursing Facility for elderly patients including:

• Carry out patient-related activities and therapeutic interventions.

• Provide services to help maximize independence and maintain health for individuals limited by:

  • Physical injury or illness

  • Cognitive impairment

  • Psychosocial dysfunction

  • Mental illness

  • Developmental or learning disability

  • Adverse environmental conditions
