Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-facility rehab team in New Albany, IN. You will implement prescribed therapies, follow established recovery plans, and help patients regain strength and independence.

You will collaborate with therapists and other care professionals to ensure high-quality, compassionate care for patients across home and facility settings. A valid PTA program credential and Indiana licensure eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing physical therapy programs and activities.
• Follow recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments with patients.
• Engage with patients to promote restoration of function and mobility.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to provide patient-centered care.
• Contribute to a caring and compassionate atmosphere for patients and families.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
