Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our facility-based rehab team. You will assist in implementing therapy programs, deliver treatments, and help patients restore function. This role supports the Director of Rehab and collaborates with nurses and therapists to optimize patient outcomes.

You will work in an in-facility setting with a patient-centered approach, aiming to empower individuals to recover and maintain independence with compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapy staff in implementing rehab programs.
• Deliver therapy treatments to patients in facility.
• Follow recovery plans and track progress.
• Collaborate with rehab team to support patient goals.
• Provide compassionate patient care and education.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

Qualifications

Posted Salary Range

USD $27.23 - USD $29.03 /Hr.
