Rehab at Home is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Texas-based home care team. The PTA will deliver and document therapy, supporting patients to reach identified goals in their plans of care.

No prior experience is required; new graduates are welcome, with mentoring and growth opportunities offered within a clinician-owned company.

Qualifications

• License from the State of Texas as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment to improve patients' physical abilities per plan.
• Document progress and report patient status to family and staff.
• Assist in selecting PT techniques/media and sequence activities.
• Monitor patient response and adjust under PT supervision.
• Adapt treatment to meet individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Optimize the physical abilities and skills of patients by delivering treatment to achieve identified goals according to the established treatment plan
• Documenting progress toward identified goals and communicating patient status and needs to the patient, the patient's family, the staff, and other professionals as appropriate under the direction of the registered and/or licensed physical therapist
• Assists in the selection of Physical Therapy techniques/media and in the sequence of activities,
• Monitors patient's response to intervention and consults with Physical Therapist if modification is indicated.
• Adapts treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to meet the personal needs of the patient.

Minimum Qualifications:

• License from the State of Texas as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.

Experience:
