Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare in Bertram, TX is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will administer prescribed PT treatments to improve mobility, coordinate with a supervising Physical Therapist, and help residents achieve meaningful mobility and quality of life.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas PTA license in good standing, have SNF/long-term care exposure, and familiarity with Net Health EHR.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas PTA license.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify patients’ physical therapy plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and adjust approaches with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

Your Impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and modify approaches as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
