Legacy Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate team in delivering high-quality therapy services to residents. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to design, implement, and deliver individualized therapy programs that support residents in achieving their therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Unencumbered Iowa PTA certificate.
• One year of experience as a PTA is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Help residents meet therapy goals and ensure they are comfortable and safe.

As a PTA you are the front line of the Therapy Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atLegacy Healthcareby assisting the Physical Therapist with the design, implementation, and delivery of customized physical therapy programs to assist residents meet their therapy goals. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an associate's degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program and an unencumbered State ofIowaPTA certificate. One (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
