Job summary

Vibra Healthcare in Florence, KY is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. You will assist the Physical Therapist in delivering therapy services, participate in treatment planning and documentation, and communicate with patients and families as directed by physicians.

This role supports department management with scheduling, mentoring of new staff, competency assessment, and shift oversight.

Qualifications

• Current, valid PTA license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• One year of experience preferred; hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in the provision of outpatient Physical Therapy services.
• Participate in treatment planning and implementation; document and communicate accordingly.
• Support department management with scheduling, mentoring of new staff, and competency assessment.
• Contribute to performance improvement and shift oversight activities.
• Maintain professional image and adhere to physician orders and regulatory standards.
