Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-facility rehab team. In this role you will help patients recover mobility and strength by following established therapy plans and delivering evidence-based treatments under supervision.

You will work closely with therapists, nurses, and other clinicians in a skilled nursing environment, providing compassionate care, documenting progress, and supporting patients and families on the road to recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing physical therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with the care team to support patient goals and education.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
