Job summary

Rehab at Home is seeking qualified Physical Therapist Assistants to join our home-based care team in Texas. We welcome new graduates and experienced clinicians alike, offering full-time, part-time and PRN options and a supportive, clinician-owned environment.

You will deliver therapy per plan, document progress, and communicate with patients and families under supervision of a licensed PT. Comprehensive benefits include PTO, medical insurance and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Licensed from the State of Texas as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy to improve patients' physical abilities per the treatment plan.
• Document patient progress and communicate status to patient, family, staff and professionals.
• Assist in selecting PT techniques/media and sequencing activities.
• Monitor patient responses and consult with the PT for modifications.
• Adapt treatment under supervision to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Optimize the physical abilities and skills of patients by delivering treatment to achieve identified goals according to the established treatment plan
• Documenting progress toward identified goals and communicating patient status and needs to the patient, the patient’s family, the staff, and other professionals as appropriate under the direction of the registered and/or licensed physical therapist
• Assists in the selection of Physical Therapy techniques/media and in the sequence of activities,
• Monitors patient’s response to intervention and consults with Physical Therapist if modification is indicated.
• Adapts treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to meet the personal needs of the patient.

Minimum Qualifications:

• License from the State of Texas as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.

Experience:

• No prior experience required - we welcome new graduates and candidates eager to learn!
