Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is seeking a rehabilitative professional to support the Physical Therapist in delivering patient-centered care. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, documenting progress, and communicating findings to the rehab team.

The role includes participating in interdisciplinary meetings, maintaining confidentiality, ensuring accurate billing, and supporting staff development through in-services and training as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical services to appropriate residents under physician’s orders
• Reports information relating to the patient’s progress, complications, and/or response to treatment to the Physical Therapist
• Assists Physical Therapist in performing procedures, test and complex treatments to ensure the safe, effective evaluation and treatment of patients
• Assumes responsibility for continued professional growth and development by participating in continuing education programs and other appropriate learning experiences
• Maintains confidentiality of all patient, facility, and physician-related information
• Maintains accurate billing information, in accordance with procedures, on a daily basis
• Attends and participates in interdisciplinary meetings, as appropriate, to relay clinical findings and recommendations to other members of the rehab team
• Attends and participates in family meetings, as appropriate
• Adheres to documentation requirements of the Rehabilitation department and the facility
• Conducts staff training/education, as appropriate, via formal and informal in-services and consultations
• Reviews and follows the policies and procedures outlined by the facility and Rehab Policy and Procedure Manual
• Supervises non-professional staff, as appropriate
