Position Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to restore patients to optimal physical function and support achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals. Adhere to health, sanitary, and infection control policies, maintaining standards set by administration and policies.

Education & Responsibilities

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college. Valid license from the state of employment.
• Treat residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate resident records.
• Keep the Physical Therapist and healthcare team informed of resident progress and changes.
• Modify treatment plans only under the direction of the licensed PT.

Experience

• Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required.
