Concordia University Wisconsin invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy within the School of Health Professions. The candidate will teach across the curriculum, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in CAPTE accreditation while mentoring students in a faith-centered program.

Qualifications

• A terminal academic degree (PhD or equivalent) required; progress considered.
• DPT degree from a CAPTE-accredited program required for content areas.
• ABPTS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Current Wisconsin licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience with blended/ asynchronous teaching methods encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Program Chair and core faculty in curriculum development and review.
• Teach in content areas aligned with expertise; preferred areas include acute care, cardiopulmonary, neuromuscular disorders, geriatrics, prosthetics/orthotics, and movement science.
• Provide course coordination and assessment, including day-to-day course management.
• Advise and mentor students throughout the program.
• Participate in CAPTE accreditation activities.
• Contribute to scholarly outcomes via research, grants, or publications.
• Provide service to the university, department, and profession; assist with recruitment and retention initiatives.
• Attend department, school, and university-wide meetings; serve on committees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
