Concordia University Wisconsin invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Assistant Professor position in the Department of Physical Therapy, within the School of Health Professions. The successful candidate will integrate a biblical worldview into instruction and professional practice, and contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and scholarship.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree required; candidates finishing or admitted may be considered.
• DPT from CAPTE-accredited program required for content areas; ABPTS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Wisconsin.
• Experience with blended/ asynchronous teaching methods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program Chair and core faculty on curriculum development and review.
• Teach in content areas aligned with expertise; responsibilities may include acute care, cardiopulmonary, neuromuscular, geriatrics, prosthetics/orthotics, or movement science.
• Provide course coordination and assessment, including day-to-day management.
• Advise and mentor students throughout the program.
• Participate in CAPTE accreditation process.
• Contribute to scholarly output through research, grants, or creative activity.
• Provide service to the university, department, and profession.
• Assist with student recruitment, orientation, and retention initiatives.
• Attend department, school, and university-wide meetings; serve on committees.
