Responsibilities

The role of the Physical Therapy Assistant is to assist the Physical Therapists in providing quality patient care for patients aged neonate/infant (birth to 1 year), pediatric (1-12 years), adolescent (12-18), adult (18-65 years), and geriatric (over 65 years). The responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining documentation on patient treatments.
2. Demonstrating commitment to professional growth and development.
3. Providing health education to patients, families, and other health care providers.
4. Applying knowledge of growth and development in patient interaction.
