Job summary

Vancouver Specialty & Rehabilitation Care is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. You will provide patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and supervise aides as needed, contributing to patient progress and care quality.

Responsibilities include documenting treatments, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with Washington state regulations, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Providing physical therapy treatments according to the physical therapist's treatment plan.
• Communicating with manager and health care interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems or plans.
• Recording daily treatment notes, portions of monthly progress notes, and discharge summaries timely and completely.
• Maintaining patient records confidentially.
• Complying with the Washington State Physical Therapy Act.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, exam rooms, and supplies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
• Follow all of the facility's policies and procedures.
• Adhere to employer work practices.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, residents, families, and management.

Job Overview

As a Physical Therapy Assistant PRN, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy treatments according to the physical therapist's treatment plan. You will communicate with our management team and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress, problems, or plans. Your essential duties will include:

• Providing physical therapy treatments according to the physical therapist's treatment plan
