Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Saint Charles, MO to support rehabilitation efforts under supervision. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic exercises, and help with evaluations, education, and motivation to improve recovery and quality of life.

Requirements include an accredited PTA associate degree, a valid state PTA license, and BLS certification within three months.

Role

Responsibilities

Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility activities, assist with patient evaluations and testing, and educate and motivate patients to enhance recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications

Must have an associate's degree from an accredited PTA program, hold a valid PTA license in the applicable state, and obtain BLS certification within three months of hire.

Experience & Skills

Less than one year of experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply. Preferred qualifications include one to two years of experience and proven success in delivering quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting.
