HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, FL is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for PRN / Per Diem. You’ll provide individualized care to restore mobility and independence, supported by a team of PTs, nurses and aides.

Responsibilities include delivering therapeutic exercises, applying PT techniques, monitoring progress, teaching home programs, and collaborating to enhance patient experience. Eligible candidates hold an Associate Degree, state PTA license, and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required.
• State license as Physical Therapist Assistant.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - PRN / Per Diem / As Needed

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility
• Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care
• Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs
• Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree
• State Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
