About the role : The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) supports clients in physical and mental health recovery, working 1 : 1 with individuals to provide rehabilitation that is fully customized to the clients needs, following Ascent Wellness Program principles to provide accessible and inclusive wellness services. Interventions may include : manual therapy, exploration of natural & pain-free movement, exercises for overall physical mobility and joint health, stretching / self-massage, and other therapeutic activities. Services are delivered on-site.

Job Qualifications :

• PREFERRED : A relevant Bachelor's or Masters degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or other areas related to the profession.
• REQUIRED : Currently licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Wisconsin.
• Excellent professional communication and customer service skills is required.
• Ability to work independently with excellent organization and time management skills is required.
• Professional work experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Professional work experience related to mental health and healthcare is a plus.
• Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.

Hours and pay : This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week, typically scheduled between 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

This position pays $25-27 per hour to start.
