Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant for the Outpatient Rehab Department at the Downtown Jacksonville clinic. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver PT services to adults and contribute to treatment plans, patient progress, and quality care.

The role involves outpatient caseloads, adherence to department budgets, and mandatory ongoing education/licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy Assistant required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (FL DOH) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities.

This is a full-time position at our Baptist Beaches Clinic, working weekdays. No weekend requirements.We are looking to add a Physical Therapy Assistant to our adult outpatient team. Caseload includes various diagnoses - orthopedic and general medical.
