Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Physical Therapy Assistant to our Outpatient Rehab Department in downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time position at our Baptist Beaches Clinic, working weekdays. No weekend requirements.

We are looking to add a Physical Therapy Assistant to our adult outpatient team. Caseload includes various diagnoses - orthopedic and general medical. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in treating patients in an outpatient setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, provide physical therapy services to patients, as prescribed by the attending physician, to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.
• Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.
• Remain within budget guidelines.
• Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.

Education & Credential Requirements

• Associate degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant from FL Department of Health.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
