Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an approved PTA program.
• Current Texas State Licensure (PTA).
• Graduates eligible for licensure will be considered.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapeutic exercises and modalities per plan of care.
• Instructs and assists patients to improve functional activity.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatments and progress.
• Fits and trains patients in braces, prostheses, and mobility aids.
• Performs clerical duties as needed.
• Supports professional customer service and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Documents patient care and enters charges per policy.
• Uses information systems to access patient data.
