Job summary

Sharp HealthCare seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide patient-focused treatments across inpatient, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. You will educate patients and families, document care, and work within a collaborative care team.

The ideal candidate holds a Physical Therapy Assistant degree, California licensure eligibility, and current BLS certification, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Union considerations may apply and weekend coverage is possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved program with a degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professional required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of California.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized treatments and education based on medical necessity.
• Treat across inpatient, rehab, and outpatient settings as needed.
• Meet weekend and holiday requirements based on FTE status.
• Document timely in Tri-City Medical Center’s EHR system.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and mentor others.
