Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

You will assist with treatment, operate therapy equipment, and communicate with patients, physicians, nurses and other team members to optimize outcomes. Ideal candidates will have completed an approved PTA program and hold WA PTA licensure, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Upon hire: Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, nurses and other personnel regarding patient care.
• Operate physical therapy equipment.
• Assist in projects and duties within the departments as directed by the Physical Therapist.
