BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for full- or part-time home health visits across Calvert County, Maryland. The PTA will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being through treatment, tests, education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Candidates must hold MD licensure/certification, have completed a 2-year PTA program approved by the APTA or have equivalent experience and supervision

• Graduated from a 2-year PTA program approved by the APTA or
• Have two years PTA experience with a proficiency exam prior to 1977;
• At least one year of work experience under supervision of a Physical Therapist.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, for a Full Time or Part Timeopportunity performing home health visits throughout Calvert County, Maryland.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of MD.
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have two years of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Other activities, as requested.

Additional Information:

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications:
$43.00-51.00 per point.
