Sutter Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to assist in providing and documenting physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed PT. The role includes supporting treatment plans, maintaining patient progress records, and ensuring safety and privacy in a busy care environment.

Typical hours are days, full-time, with a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. Successful candidates will have PTA certification and BLS, and must be able to work within the department’s

Position Overview

Assists in providing physical therapy treatments and performing procedures. May, in accordance with State laws and regulations, assist in the development of treatment plans, document the progress of treatment, and modify specific treatments within scope of the plan of care established by the supervising physical therapist. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May serve as clinical instructor for assigned students.

Education

Additional Requirements:

• Other: Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.

Certification & Licensure

• PTA-Registered Physical Therapist Assistant
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Department Specific Certification & Licensure

• Department - SCAH: Auto Insurance
• Department - SCAH: DL-Valid Drivers License

Typical Experience

• 1 year of recent relevant experience.

Pay Range is $43.41 to $60.77 / hour

The posted pay range is based on the position's primary work location. Candidates who reside and work outside of that location may be subject to a different pay range based on their work location.
