Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for full-time or part-time home health visits in the Concord Visist office serving Keene, NH area. The PTA provides treatment, education, and appropriate interventions under a licensed Physical Therapist.

Requirements include NH PTA licensure, completion of a two-year PTA program approved by APTA, or equivalent experience and proficiency exam, with at least one year under supervision of a PT.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification in New Hampshire.
• Graduated from a two-year PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• One year PTA experience with a proficiency exam before Dec 31, 1977 or one year under supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being through treatment, tests, and education as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and documentation as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Support patients with education and activities to improve function and mobility.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, for a full-time or part-time opportunity performing home health visits for our Concord Visist office.This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Keene, NH.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of New Hampshire
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have one year of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
