Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a healthcare organization in Hamilton, TX to recruit a Physical Therapist Assistant. Under a Physical Therapist's supervision, you will provide physician-directed therapy services and support patient rehabilitation.

Responsibilities include delivering prescribed treatments, educating patients, documenting progress, and maintaining equipment. We offer competitive hourly pay and a range of benefits including PTO, health insurance, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current Texas PTA license required.
• Knowledge of physical therapy equipment and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments per prescribed plans and scheduled appointments.
• Prepare, educate, and monitor patients for safe, effective care.
• Administer exercises, modalities, and procedures with age-appropriate care.
• Document treatments and communicate progress to therapists and leadership.
• Maintain therapy equipment through routine upkeep and cleaning.
