Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a healthcare organization in Hamilton, TX to recruit a Physical Therapist Assistant. Under a Physical Therapist's supervision, you will provide physician-directed therapy services and support patient rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current Texas PTA license required.

The Staff Pad has partnered with a prestigioushealthcare organization in Hamilton, TX to find a dedicated Physical TherapistAssistant to join their growing Physical Therapy team.

In this role you will administer and overseephysician-prescribed physical therapy treatments and therapeutic modalities tosupport patient rehabilitation and recovery.

What You’ll Do

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, thePhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides physician-directed therapy servicesby:

• Delivering physical therapytreatments according to prescribed plans and scheduled appointments
  
• Preparing, educating, andmonitoring patients throughout treatment sessions to ensure safe andeffective care
  
• Administering therapeuticexercises, physical agents, and ambulatory procedures while providingage-appropriate care in accordance with departmental policies
  
• Documenting treatments accuratelyand communicating patient progress to therapists, physicians, andleadership
  
• Maintaining therapy equipmentthrough routine upkeep, cleaning, sanitization, storage, and minorpreventive maintenance

• Maintain patient confidentialityand provide exceptional patient service
  
• Communicate effectively withmedical staff and other healthcare professionals
  
• Follow infection control, safetyprocedures, and Healthcare System policies

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications
