Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Huntsville-area team. This full-time role involves patient care under a licensed Physical Therapist, home safety education, and coordination with an interdisciplinary team.

Candidates must have an associates degree in Physical Therapy, a valid state license, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with the ability to travel to locations. Schedule is full-time with a $5,000 bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Valid license to practice in the state of operation.
• CPR certification required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to all business locations.
• Ability to educate patients and families in basic home safety and medical equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Provides and documents patient care per physician orders and agency policy.
• Documents interventions, approaches and treatment priorities.
• Educates and counsels patients and families.
• Presents patient information to supervising Physical Therapist and team.
• Provides skilled treatment within agency and payer parameters.
• Coordinates with team to plan and adjust treatment.
• Ensures timely daily notes and forms.
• Meets productivity standards and participates in meetings.
