Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Worker Rehabilitation Program. The role provides PT services to patients under a licensed PT, focusing on work conditioning, functional restoration, and collaborative care to support safe return to work.

You will work with physicians, case managers, employers, and the rehabilitation team to design individualized plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.
• Prior experience in acute care or rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in the Worker Rehabilitation Program under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist with therapeutic interventions, work conditioning activities, and functional capacity development, collaborating with the rehabilitation team to achieve return-to-work outcomes.

What You Will Do

The ideal candidate will provide physical therapy services to patients participating in the Worker Rehabilitation Program under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role involves assisting with therapeutic interventions, work conditioning activities, functional capacity development, and collaborating closely with physicians, case managers, employers, and other rehabilitation team members to facilitate successful return-to-work outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Physical Therapy Assistant.


• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.


• Previous experience in acute care or rehabilitation preferred.
