Job summary

Palm Springs Healthcare Center in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support a licensed Physical Therapist in delivering patient-centered care.

The PTA will assist with treatment plans, document resident progress, teach exercises to residents and families, and help with orthotic, prosthetic devices, and other assisting apparatus while complying with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an APTA-accredited program is required.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.

SUMMARY

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist with a patient’s treatment program in accordance with federal guidelines and state practice acts.
