Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team.

You will provide patient-centered care to improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life for residents in a skilled nursing facility. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will deliver prescribed therapies, document outcomes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adapt plans.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas PTA license in good standing with regulatory boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health EHR or similar electronic documentation systems preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PTA treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PTA services under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Relay information and referrals to the Physical Therapist on request.
• Modify care plans under PT supervision as needed.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust approaches with the interdisciplinary team.

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

Your Impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist
• Implement and modify patients’ physical therapy plans of care under PT supervision
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and modify approaches as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit
