Job summary

The Institute for Orthopedics & Chiropratic in Minnesota seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Qualifications

• Minnesota Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow IOC workflows and policies to ensure safe, clean, collaborative patient care.
• Collaborate with PT staff to maintain treatment rooms and gym, stock supplies, and report low inventory.
• Greet and room patients and ensure timely, accurate chart notes in the EHR.
• Provide patient care using PT techniques per individualized plans of care.
• Communicate progress to Physical Therapist and adjust plans as needed.
• Adhere to laws, regulations and ethical standards for physical therapy.
• Maintain licenses, certifications and compliance requirements and pursue ongoing learning.
