Job summary

Powerback in Merrillville, Indiana, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-facility rehab team. You will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments under the direction of the Director of Rehab.

You will focus on restoring function, addressing the whole patient, and collaborating with peers to support patient goals. A supportive mentorship and continuing education culture awaits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities following developed recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to patients in facilities as part of the rehab team.
• Collaborate with peers and refer to other clinicians to ensure comprehensive care.
• Restore, reinforce and enhance patients' physical abilities while focusing on the whole patient.

Education
