Responsibilities

• Contributes to interdisciplinary team meetings to plan patient needs and discharge plans.
• Precepts PT technicians or assistants and evaluates learner competency.
• Documents patient treatment and progress toward goals for billing and statistics.
• Instructs PT students and assistants in clinical practice.
• Provides skilled PT treatments, designs exercise programs, and teaches ambulatory devices for safe mobility.
• Participates in quality improvement efforts and departmental in-services.
