Job summary

West River Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to administer therapy modalities under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and help restore patient functioning after injury or illness. You will support evaluative processes and participate in departmental CQI activities to improve care delivery.

Responsibilities include assisting patients to reach maximum functioning while operating within their capabilities, with shifts that may include holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• AA degree from a school or college approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Holds current certificate/licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy modalities and treatments under supervision of the staff Physical Therapist.
• Assist with restoration of patient functioning and contribute to CQI activities within the department.
