Job summary

Flint Hills Care & Rehab Center in Emporia, KS is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, delivering direct patient care as outlined by the plan of care.

You will document resident progress toward established goals, teach exercises to residents and families, and assist with instruction on orthotic or prosthetic devices as needed, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an APTA accredited program.
• Licensed as Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct treatment to residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Documents resident progress toward meeting established goals.
• Teaches exercises to residents, family members, and caregivers and may provide instruction in the use and care for orthotic, prosthetic devices, and other assisting apparatus.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
