Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support inpatient and outpatient services across pediatric to geriatric populations. Under the direction of a physical therapist, you will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and educate patients and families to promote safe, independent movement.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Active PTA license with Georgia Board of Physical Therapy.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Performs physical therapy programs and treatments as directed by the physical therapist for inpatient & outpatient pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.
• Provides employee and patient educational programs as directed.
• The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.

3. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
