We Are Hiring

• Department:Physical Therapy Acute
• Schedule:PRN
• Hospital:Ascension St. Vincent's Southside Hospital
• Location: Jacksonville, Florida

What You Will Do

Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.

• Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
• Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
• Document treatment interventions given.
• May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students, and other support personnel.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. Required.
• Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Florida Board ofPhysical Therapy Practice obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Required.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
