Job summary

UT Health Quitman is seeking a day shift, full-time Swing Bed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team in Quitman, TX. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered physical therapy services in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting.

Graduate of an accredited PTA program with an active Texas PTA license is required. Prior experience in acute or outpatient settings is preferred to support swing bed care and efficient patient throughput.

• Current professional license active and valid in the State of Texas.

UT Health Quitman offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, swing bed care, cardiopulmonary rehab, on-site physician clinics, and a sleep lab.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant shall be responsible for providing a full range of age appropriate physical therapy services including assessments, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.
