Job summary

UT Health East Texas is seeking a day shift, full-time Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Henderson, TX to join our rehabilitation team. You will provide age-appropriate PT services under supervision, participate in treatment planning, and support interdisciplinary care to improve patient outcomes.

Preferred candidates have an PTA associate degree and Texas license; 3–5 years of experience in acute or outpatient settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of PTA approved program (Associate degree).
• Current Texas PTA license active and valid.
• 3–5 years’ experience in acute or outpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of age-appropriate physical therapy services including assessments, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant shall be responsible for providing a full range of age-appropriate physical therapy services including assessments, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an PTA approved Associates degree program.
• Current professional license active and valid in the State of Texas.
