Job summary

AdviniaCare Newton-Wellesley is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to partner with a dedicated interdisciplinary team and deliver person-centered care. You’ll help residents maintain independence, mobility, and quality of life, building meaningful relationships with patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Physical Therapist Assistant license.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide physical therapy treatments — exercises, stretches, and modalities — as directed by the physical therapist
• Apply a person-centered approach to support independence and mobility
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, relationship-based care
• Participate in patient and family education to promote independence and empowerment
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of patient treatments and progress
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment in line with infection control standards
