Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital in Walterboro, SC seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will deliver individualized exercises and therapeutic techniques, working under supervising PTs to restore mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) credential is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent must be obtained within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
• Apply physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses for safe, effective care.
• Teach patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with PTs, nurses, aides, and care team to enhance patient experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility
