Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to improve patients' mobility and independence. You will work within a supportive team, delivering individualized care, guided by well-defined processes and collaborative supervision.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Completion of state exam.
  • Ability to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingual, able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
  • Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
  • Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care.
  • Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs.
  • Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility
  • Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate\'s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Completion of state exam.
  • Ability to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingual, able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently preferred.
