Job summary

Soaring on Hope Pediatric Therapy Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to work with children aged 0–21 under a supervising PT. You will provide engaging, evidence-based therapies that support strength, mobility, and functional independence, in a collaborative, family-centered setting.

The role emphasizes patient care, professional growth, and participation in a supportive team dedicated to helping children thrive.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility.
• Preferred: pediatric therapy focus, family-centered care, collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide engaging activities targeting strength, balance, coordination, mobility, gait, endurance, motor planning, and functional independence.
• Support children in developing gross motor skills and participating in age-appropriate activities.
• Educate and encourage families in carrying over therapeutic activities and home programs.
• Communicate with the supervising PT regarding patient progress, challenges, and changes in performance.
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, and other team members to support coordinated care.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Participate in department meetings, professional development, and team collaboration.
