Job summary

Tulsa Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Tulsa, OK is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to support individualized care plans for residents in a skilled nursing and rehab setting. You will work under a licensed PT to implement treatments and help patients achieve functional goals.

You will perform treatments, develop plans, conduct assessments, educate patients on exercises and daily living activities, and maintain detailed progress notes for each resident to ensure

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• One year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the physical therapy team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assist in the preparation and setup of treatment areas
• Participate in patient care conferences to discuss patient progress and goals
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide individualized care plans for each resident.

About the Role

• Conducting physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
