Precision Physical Therapy & Fitness is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Scotts Valley clinic. This full-time position (32–40 hours per week) includes comprehensive benefits and a strong mentorship environment focused on movement-based care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist, focusing on patient-centered care.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and families about exercises, techniques, and home care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support patients in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, pediatrics, and home health environments.
