Sentara is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in Newport News, Virginia. The role requires an Associate's degree and an active PTA license.

Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions by accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures. Participates/assists with updates in the formal plan of care to address individual patient needs. Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and families to improve patient outcomes. Productive and efficient in daily operations.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $32.18 - $47.43 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
