Job summary

Sentara Health in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient rehab in a full-time daytime role. You will administer PT treatments under a PT's supervision and help develop treatment plans while performing routine clinical tasks and documenting patient progress.

Responsibilities include educating clients and caregivers, supervising team members as needed, and contributing to an exceptional patient care experience within Sentara's network.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (CAPTE-accredited).
• Current Physical Therapist Licensure.
• BLS, AHA and RQI certifications required.

Overview

We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant in Williamsburg, Virginia.

This is an outpatient rehab therapy setting.

This is a Full-Time, Day shift opportunity with great benefits.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Sentara, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.

Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education

• Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required), obtained in a CAPTE-accredited two-year associate degree program
• Holds a current Physical Therapist Licensure

Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification
• American Heart Association (AHA)
• RQI American Heart Association (AHA)
